MISSION
Our mission is to rebuild traumatized communities by strengthening individuals by committing to assist in breaking cycles of imbalance. We aim to provide mental health services, substance abuse counseling, advocacy and skill-building workshops to individuals, families, and groups. By reducing stress, anxiety, depression, and substance use through education, training, and professional services, we strive to foster a healthier, more resilient communities.

JAMIA MORROW-PERKINS, LPC
Executive Director/Counselor
Jamia has been in the Mental Health field for over fifteen years. She has endured her fair share of trials and tribulations on this journey called life. There have been bumps in the road, detours, stop signs, and road closures, but through it all, she has never let her drive and determination for a better life be taken over by Depression.
Jamia believes the key to overcoming any barrier in life is through Faith, Education, and Support. Jamia completed her education at Bowie State University where she received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and Certificate in Addictions Counseling. She is fully licensed in Georgia and Maryland. She strives to help as many individuals as she can reach their full potential. She understands through therapy we all can heal from the traumas of our past!
